Welcome to the homepage of Sumitomo Metal Technology, Inc. We are an all-around technology service company with main technologies for analysis, test and evaluation of materials, established in 1987 by separating from Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.
Since the company's establishment, we have been providing various services to the customers in many fields, including energy, electronics and automobile-related, with great store of knowledge and experience, and the latest advanced equipment.
At present, we have four main sectors of "Material analysis and evaluation services", "Environment-related investigation", "General railway engineering" and "Instrumentation and inspection systems engineering".In particular, "Material analysis and evaluation service" occupied about half of our whole business. We can comply with your such various needs quickly and precisely, as trace element analysis for high purity materials, reliability evaluation tests, various pressure-proof tests and substance fatigue test. Especially, micro surface analysis, corrosion resistance evaluation and measures, materials evaluation for high temperature use and hydrogen related use, and large scale fatigue test are in our strong line.
And, in "Environment-related investigation" service, we are developing the system to contribute to the customers' safety and security by providing quick response and low price, with focusing on analysis of regulated chemical substances related to green procurement and asbestos inspection, in addition to soil investigation and analysis, water supply and environmental water analysis, and residual agricultural chemical analysis.
The sales amount in fiscal 2009 achieved over 16.7 billion yen with many customers' support, and over 50% of our sales are outside the Sumitomo Metal Group.
Concentrating to the activities to contribute to the customers' safety and security, we will develop the structure useful to the environmental preservation, too.
